Do It For The Culture is a premier music conference and festival held in Kelowna, BC, dedicated to amplifying underrepresented artists, particularly in Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeats. Founded by 100 Collective Records, the event provides a platform for people of colour to showcase their talent, connect with industry professionals, and access career-building resources. Through live performances, networking opportunities, and educational panels led by experts, the festival fosters community, artistic growth, and industry development. With a strong focus on accessibility and regional representation, Do It For The Culture is reshaping Canada’s music landscape by creating equitable opportunities for emerging talent.

IS THE EVENT ONLY FOR PEOPLE OF COLOUR?

Everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to attend Do It for the Culture! While our focus is on showcasing underrepresented artists, we believe there is something for everyone to learn from and enjoy at both our conference and festival. 

 

 

ARE MINORS ALLOWED?

Those under 19 are allowed to attend our conference, Sept 5th, until 5pm. 

All of the evening showcases are 19+, and valid government issued ID will be required for entry. 

CAN I GET A REFUND?

Unfortunately all of our tickets are final sale, no refunds are available.
