KAYO, born and raised in the vibrant island of St. Lucia, is an artist, songwriter, DJ, and Creative Director who masterfully blends a spectrum of genres including hip-hop, R&B, reggae, afro beats, house, and amapiano.His sound is a unique fusion of Caribbean roots and global influences, reflecting both his cultural heritage and his musical versatility.
Whether crafting infectious party anthems or introspective ballads, KAYO’s music pulses with rhythmic complexity and a soulful authenticity that captivates listeners across borders.
At a pivotal moment in his career, KAYO moved from St. Lucia to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he continued to evolve his artistry, immersing himself in the dynamic Canadian music scene. Since then, he has become a prominent voice for Caribbean music in North America, pushing the boundaries of his craft while staying rooted in his island upbringing.
