Jocelyn is from Orange County, CA and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  

 

Jocelyn joined Def Jam one year ago as a Director of Digital Marketing after spending three years at music marketing agency, ContraBrand as a Marketing Manager.  At Def Jam, she leads digital marketing for developing and developed acts such as Timbaland, Coco Jones, Lady London, Elmiene + many other great artists. She strategizes how to roll-out their new music and reach new audiences with strategic and creative campaigns. The campaigns lean heavily on utilizing narratives, influencers, trends, and ads across multiple platforms to build omnipresence within social media. 

At ContraBrand, she helped strategize campaigns for hundreds of artists across different sizes and genres. One of her more notable campaigns was for 24kGoldn’s song ‘Mood’ which achieved platinum success. She also worked for ContraBrand’s subsidiary, Brandman Network, as a Music Marketing Consultant. At Brandman Network she contributed to the music marketing courses and mentored hundreds of artists, managers, and industry professionals.

Jocelyn began in the music industry as an A&R Scout at indie label, Heroic Recordings, where she recruited new talent onto the label. 


With all the experience she’s gained over the years, she found a passion in sharing her knowledge with the industry. You can find her music marketing content on both Instagram and TikTok @saucewithjoce. 

SEAN TAYLOR

Sean Taylor, better known as "BrandMan Sean" is Cofounder of ContraBrand Agency, a music-first marketing agency that helps artists, labels and brands connect to culture through social media and targeted advertising.  

In 2020 alone, his agency has been behind campaigns that have collectively accumulated over 400 million views on TikTok, 140 million streams and 12 million views on YouTube. 

 

Taylor also has a YouTube channel, BRANDMAN NETWORK, where he educates artists on music marketing, branding and entrepreneurship.

Corey “CL” Llewellyn

Corey “CL” Llewellyn is a seasoned marketing professional with a rich background in music and technology. He kickstarted his career at Sony Music, working for Cory Rooney and Mariah Carey, and later joined the newly formed Cornerstone Promotion. During his time there, he played a pivotal role in establishing the 1200 Squad, The Cornerstone Mixtape, and the Fader Magazine. He then worked with Sylvia Rhone and Elektra records, where he headed the Rap Promotion Department and created innovative marketing strategies for artists like Fabolous and Missy Elliot, among others.


After his stints at Elektra and Warner Music Group, CL pursued his true passion at Digiwaxx Media. He founded the first Digital Record Pool and Music/Tech Marketing Agency, which bridged the gap between the music and tech industries. The company went on to partner with renowned brands like Microsoft, Nike, Puma, Monster, and Beats By Dre, among others.


As an innovator, CL’s curiosity for emerging trends led him to immerse himself in blockchain technology. Drawing on his expertise, he developed new platforms and services utilizing Web 3 technology to help artists distribute their music via the blockchain, engage in community monetization, and retain their intellectual property.
Today, CL continues to push the boundaries of music and technology by combining his deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge innovations.
